This workshop explores the creative meeting point between design and applied theatre. Drawing on projects including Love Reign, The Silver Hive, Sundown Kiki Reloaded and American Dream 2.0, this session will:
unpack how writers, designers, producers and creative directors shape work together across different artistic, social and spatial contexts.
look at how design responds to working with different cast sizes, age groups, venues and budgets, from intimate community settings to larger-scale spaces
offer practical insight into how applied theatre and design inform one another, helping participants think more expansively about process, access, responsiveness and visual storytelling.
Please note, we are running this workshop twice - please select one date when booking:
Thursday 16th July, 12-2pm
Tuesday 21st July, 5-7pm
